Judy Robinson-Cox creates and photographs temporary tabletop dioramas that capture humorous human events and the inner workings of the mind. She was recently selected to show a selection of her Lilliputian Landscapes series at Johnson and Wales Culinary Arts Museum in Providence RI and at the Firehouse Center for the Arts in Newburyport MA.
An award-winning Cape Ann, Massachusetts photographer and mixed media artist, Judy is represented by the Square Circle Gallery in Rockport MA and Chameleon Gallery in Newburyport MA. Her work is in many private collections throughout the United States and Europe.
Judy attended New York University and holds a BFA, cum laude, from the University of Connecticut where she attended workshops with Jerry Uelsmann and Paul Caponigro. In addition, she has taken numerous post-graduate classes including those at Philadelphia College of Art, Montserrat College of Art and the Griffin Museum of Photography.
After a lifelong career in the graphic arts, Judy is now primarily involved with fine art photography. She is active in various Massachusetts arts organizations including the Rocky Neck Art Colony; Gloucester’s Society for the Advancement of the Arts (seARTS); and the Rockport and Cambridge Art Associations.
